Brush type sweeping robot

Suction port type sweeper

The bottom is the vacuum port, which works similar to a vacuum cleaner, sucking dust and small trash from the ground into the dust box through suction. There are generally fixed single-port type, floating single-port type and small-port type sweepers on the market.

Random type sweeping robot uses the random coverage method, which is based on a certain movement algorithm, such as triangular, pentagonal trajectory to try to cover the operating area, and if it encounters obstacles, it executes the corresponding steering function.

Advantages: cheap.

Disadvantages: no positioning, no environmental map, no path planning, its mobile path basically depends on the built-in algorithm, the merits of the algorithm determines the quality and efficiency of its cleaning, the general cleaning time is relatively long.

 

②Planning type

Planning type sweeping robot has positioning navigation system, can build cleaning map. The positioning of the planning route is divided into three ways: laser ranging navigation system, indoor positioning navigation system and image-based measurement navigation system.

Advantages: high cleaning efficiency, can be based on the planning route for local cleaning.

Disadvantages: more expensive

Select by battery type

The battery is equivalent to the power source of the sweeper, its good or bad directly affects the range and service life of the sweeper. The current market use of sweeping robot batteries, can be divided into lithium-ion batteries and nickel-hydrogen batteries.

Lithium-ion battery

Lithium-ion batteries are made of lithium metal or lithium alloy as the negative electrode material, using a non-aqueous electrolyte solution of the battery. It has the advantages of small size and light weight, and can be charged as it is used.

Nickel-hydrogen battery

Nickel-metal hydride batteries are composed of hydrogen ions and nickel metal. NiMH batteries have a memory effect, and it is best to use them normally after they are discharged and then fully charged to ensure the life of the battery. NiMH batteries are not polluting to the environment and are more environmentally friendly. Relative to lithium-ion batteries, its larger size, can not be quickly charged, but the safety and stability will be higher.
